Yasmin Hanani Binti Omar graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)
with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons). She underwent pupillage in the chambers of Puan
Suriana Bt Mohd Noor of Messrs. Chambers of Suriana Mohd Noor and was admitted and
enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 11 September 2014. During
her pupillage, she gained experienced in Conveyance, mostly handle transfer of property for
clients and also drafting Hibah Agreement if necessary. She also does contentious and noncontentious work.
Yasmin Hanani then was offered as a Legal Assistant at Messrs. Haranay, Hisham, Anikah &
Associates. During her practise with Messrs. Haranay, Hisham, Anikah & Associates, she had
gained experience in litigation and panels for certain Banks such as Bank Islam Malaysia
Berhad, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Yayasan Pahang and
also Bank Kerjasama Rakya

Yasmin Hanani had also gained experience in handling running matters such as Bodily Injury
Claims and mostly handling and conducting Hearing, negotiate with insurance company to
get mandate and also giving legal advice pertaining accident matters to the clients.
In October 2016, she continues her practice as a Legal Assistant at Bob S. Arumugam & Co
and embarks in Criminal Defence Practice. She assist her Senior Defence Counsel in handling
Criminal Matters mostly in Dangerous Drug Act (DDA) cases, murder cases and etc.
In March, 2018, she joined Messrs C. Sukumaran & Co., and continues her practice in civil and
banking litigation.
